Version July 2026 · Applies to all mentoring sessions booked through Imaan Care

⚠ In crisis? Imaan Care is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911, or contact the 9-8-8 Suicide & Crisis Helpline (free, 24/7).
Booking & Eligibility
  1. Booking a session online confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  2. By confirming your booking, you confirm that you are between the ages of 18 and 25.
Nature of the Service
  1. Imaan Care is a free Islamic faith mentoring service. It is not a clinical, psychiatric, or psychological service, and mentors are not licensed therapists, psychologists, or social workers.
  2. Sessions are advisory and supportive in nature. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological care, and should not be relied upon as such.
  3. Imaan Care is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, you must contact 9-8-8 or 911 rather than wait for a scheduled session.
Confidentiality, Recording & Reporting
  1. What you share during a session is kept confidential, with the following limits: (a) where there is a risk of harm to yourself or another person, (b) where the law requires reporting, including suspected abuse or neglect of a minor under Saskatchewan's Child and Family Services Act, or (c) where required by a court order.
  2. Sessions may be recorded (audio only) for safety, training, and quality purposes. Recordings are kept securely, are not shared outside Imaan Care, and are retained only as long as reasonably necessary, except where retention is required to protect Imaan Care, its mentors, or attendees in connection with a legal claim.
  3. Attendees are not permitted to record, share, screenshot, or take images of any session.
  4. Anything disclosed during a session that Imaan Care is legally required to report, including an imminent risk to safety or suspected abuse of a minor, will be reported to the relevant authorities.
  5. Attendees agree not to disclose the identity of their mentor, or the platform used for the session, to any third party, in order to protect mentor privacy and safety.
Conduct
  1. Mentors are expected to follow Imaan Care's internal code of conduct. Imaan Care does not accept liability for personal views expressed by a mentor outside the scope of an official session.
  2. No physical contact occurs during any session, as all mentoring is conducted online.
Practical Details
  1. Cancellations should be made with as much advance notice as possible through the booking system. Cancelling or missing a session without a valid reason may result in losing the ability to book future sessions.
  2. Sessions are conducted in English unless otherwise arranged.
